The Jack Skille Hockey Academy is proud to announce that we will be running a two-day high intensity, high altitude, NHL style hockey camp December 30th & 31st , 2019. Our team of elite coaches are motivated and excited to help your athlete learn proper hockey fundamentals and develop and polish skill sets that will be utilized to fully develop as a top tier hockey player.
The Holiday Invitational will focus on teaching the athlete how to become a stronger, well balanced hockey player through our use of power-skating techniques and focused individual skill group ice sessions. Power skating and skills sessions will be instructed by all of our coaches. The athletes will have a one hour ice session then an off-ice dryland/lecture/snack/hydration session, followed by another one hour ice session. The afternoon skills session will be broken up into group stations and half-ice that will focus on teaching various skills that are needed in order to be a select hockey player. The combined knowledge and teaching ability of the coaching staff and the athletes hard dedicated work, players will walk away from our camp with a higher hockey IQ and skill set. Our coaches will also provide the players with the information they need to continue to grow and develop as a hockey player. Lectures and chalk talks will provide insight of the effort and dedication it takes to reach the highest levels of hockey. Talks about working hard on and off the ice, to the nutrition they need for their developing bodies will be covered to help round out a complete game. These coaches have reached the highest levels in their sports for a reason, they are going to share all the secrets they can to develop these hockey players.
The Coaching Staff:
Jack Skille: 643 professional games played in the NHL, 2 seasons in the Elite European Hockey League, 2006 NCAA National Champion at the University of Wisconsin Go Badger’s, 2005 1st round NFL draft pick 7th overall pick of the Chicago Blackhawks. Jack’s attitude and no non-sense approach will have the athletes engaged. He expects the athletes to come prepared to learn and with the desire to improve their game.
Jonathan Garcia: 2-time Olympic long-track speed skater, has trained under the top USA Olympic coaches. Jack has worked with him and has witnessed the results. Jonathan will teach the athletes how to maximize the force needed in an efficient long hockey stride that will increase the speed of the player.
Tom Gatta: Division III college Castleton State University, 2010-2014. Park City Pioneers player, local Park City Ice Miners coach for 8 years. Tom is a physical education teacher. His knowledge of hockey, and ability to communicate clearly with the athletes provides some great insight on how to best teach each individual player.
Katie Kleinendorst: Division 1 varsity NCAA hockey player at New Hampshire University, 2009-2013, 2 years D-1 varsity lacrosse at UNH, 2 year assistant coach at Castleton University where she earned a Masters in Art Education. Trained 3 years at the North American Hockey Academy. An outstanding pedigree of family hockey at the NHL and AHL levels.

Angelo Ricci - Current Philadelphia Flyers Skills & Development Coach, Buffalo Sabres Skills & Development Coach from 2012-2019, Offseason NHL Skills & Development Coach since 2004.
COST: $300.00 per player. I will be giving away a free "Jack Skille Hockey Academy" hat to the first 20 people to be accepted. We are capping the number to the first 40 players who sign up.
